Rivers, who began her career in the banking industry, has managed MIG’s closing operations since the company opened its doors in Knoxville in 1989. She has built MIG’s closing division from the ground up and has overseen the company’s post-closing operations since 2006.
In her new role, Rhea said Rivers will lead a smooth and cohesive operations campaign across MIG’s closing, post-closing, loan delivery, loan sales, underwriting, warranties and credit operations.
“You’ll make sure all the pieces are connected well,” Ria said.
Rivers, a graduate of the University of Tennessee, said she looks forward to the opportunity to leverage positive growth post-closed and post-closed administrations to reinforce MIG’s commitment to closing loans quickly and efficiently while ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
“I’m excited to take what we’ve been able to achieve in other departments and bring it into new areas of direct reporting,” she said. “I look forward to bringing knowledge and empowerment to support the continued development of our team members as it relates to continuing our strong tradition of leadership in the mortgage lending industry.”
Rivers is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Affordable Home Ownership Advisory Board and the Client Advisory Board of Chase, an MIG Lending Partner. Graduated in 2023 from Vistage’s Emerging Leader Program and received a Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida in 2021.
